ד"ר עילי רטיג
מחקר
ד"ר עילי רטיג הוא מרצה בכיר במחלקה למדעי המדינה באוניברסיטת בר-אילן וחוקר בכיר במרכז בגין-סאדאת למחקרים אסטרטגיים (מרכז בס"א). הוא מתמחה בגאופוליטיקה של אנרגיה ויחסים בינלאומיים. מחקריו מתמקדים בסכסוכים ושיתופי פעולה אזוריים סביב נפט, גז טבעי ואנרגיות מתחדשות, במדיניות האנרגיה והביטחון הלאומי של ישראל, ובפוליטיקה סביבתית בזירה הבינלאומית.
לפני שהצטרף למחלקה בבר-אילן, ד"ר רטיג לימד בתוכנית ללימודי סביבה באוניברסיטת וושינגטון בסנט לואיס, וכן בבית הספר למנהל עסקים באוניברסיטת רייס ביוסטון. בעבר גם שימש כמרצה במכללה לביטחון לאומי (מב"ל) במחנה דיין, כעמית ניובאואר במכון למחקרי ביטחון לאומי בתל-אביב (INSS), כחוקר במרכז למדיניות ואסטרטגיה ימית באוניברסיטת חיפה, וכחוקר אורח במכון לביטחון וסכסוכים באוניברסיטת ג'ורג' וושינגטון בארה"ב. הוא קיבל את הדוקטורט שלו ביחסים בינלאומיים מאוניברסיטת חיפה ב-2019.
